Washing scarves and shawls
To keep your scarves and shawls in top shape, follow these simple tips
Read the label - Before washing or ironing any scarf or shawl, always check the label for specific care instructions.
Delicate wash - Most scarves and shawls can be hand washed in cold water with a mild detergent. Fresh stains are easier to remove. Do not use bleach and rinse well.
Natural drying - Place the scarf/shawl on a dry towel and gently roll it to remove excess water. Let it dry naturally, away from direct heat sources.
Don't step on it - It is not necessary to iron the scarf or shawl. The crepe look will be lost until the next wash.
Proper storage - Store scarves and shawls in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. You can use boxes or drawers to organize them.
Proper care will extend the life of your scarves and shawls.
