The Story Behind the Creation.

A legacy of confidence, reinterpreted.

This poncho is not just a garment; it is a story woven from cherished memories and a passion for fashion history. Created by me two years ago, this design draws its essence from two powerful sources of inspiration.

Firstly, it is a tribute to my childhood. My mother had a cloak-style coat, made of a very fine fabric, which I adored. As I grew up, I started wearing it on walks with friends, and that cloak gave me an incredible sense of confidence and freedom – a feeling of well-being that I wanted to recreate for you too.

Secondly, I was deeply inspired by the austere elegance of the Victorian era. This was a period when cloaks and capes (like the famous Inverness capes) were gracefully worn by both ladies and gentlemen. Often made of wool in shades of black, grey, or dark green, these pieces offered protection and an imposing presence.

I took that timeless aesthetic and Victorian distinction, reinterpreting them into a modern, sustainable, and versatile version.
